Agreement
By using The Grid, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
The service
The Grid is a personal productivity application that provides journaling, task management, note-taking, goal tracking, habit tracking, health logging, and financial tracking tools. The app is available as a web application and desktop application.
Accounts
You may use The Grid without an account. An account is only required for cloud sync. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person.
Free tier
The Grid offers a free tier with all core tools and local storage. No credit card is required. No time limit. Premium features like cloud sync and media storage require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions
Paid plans (Pro and Premium) are billed monthly or yearly. By subscribing, you agree to recurring billing at the price shown at time of purchase.
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- After cancellation, you retain access to all free-tier features and your local data.
- Your subscription is valid across all platforms where The Grid is available.
Refunds are available within 14 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied.
Your data
You own all data you create in The Grid. We don't claim any rights to your content. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
Acceptable use
Don't use The Grid to:
- Violate any laws.
- Attempt to access other users' data.
- Reverse-engineer or redistribute the application.
- Overload our sync infrastructure with automated or excessive requests.
Availability
We aim for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime, especially for cloud sync. Your local data is always available regardless of our service status.
Limitation of liability
The Grid is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we can't be held liable for data loss, interruptions, or damages beyond the amount you paid for the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
