Your writing is yours
Everything you put into The Grid belongs to you. Using the app grants us nothing beyond what is needed to store and sync it for you.
What you can expect
The Grid is young software built by one person. It is provided as is: we work hard to keep it fast and to never lose a word, and we do not promise perfection. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
What we expect
Do not attack the service, probe other people's data, or use the sync infrastructure for anything other than your own Grid. Accounts doing that get closed.
Paying
There is a free tier. If you subscribe to a paid tier, billing runs through the platform you subscribed on, and their refund rules apply.
